Zurich North America appoints chief threat officer

Zurich North America has introduced the appointment of Ann Chai (pictured above) as chief threat officer.

Chai, previously head of finance for US center market at Zurich, succeeds Colleen Zitt, who has been named vice chairman of end-to-end course of controls for Zurich North America’s finance crew.

Chaiu can be primarily based in Zurich North America’s headquarters in Schaumburg, Unwell. She’s going to report back to Peter Giger, Zurich group head of threat.

In her new position, Chai can be accountable for main the corporate’s threat operate, together with:

• Making certain group-wide governance and threat administration tasks are met
• Creating and implementing threat insurance policies and monitoring adherence

As chief threat officer, Chai can be a member of Zurich’s international management crew, the Danger Administration Government Committee and Zurich North America’s Government Committee.
